"You Did It For Me "
O’ Lord You were perfect,
No blemish, or spot.
By Your sacrifice
My freedom was bought.
For me Lord, You did this,
My Savior, my Light,
Betrayed with a kiss
In the garden that night.
I hurt when I think of
Your sorrow and pain,
But I’m thankful Your love
Will forever remain.
Lord how can I thank You
For all that You’ve done?
And all that You went through
As God’s only Son?
All my troubles and wrongs
You took to the tree.
Let me praise You in song
Lord...You did it for me!!!

"Our Savior’s Love"
Jesus is the name above
All names, for He is King.
Jesus died to show His love
For every human being.
We charged our Lord with blasphemy,
We spit upon His face.
We scourged and beat Him viciously,
Yet still were given grace.
A crown of thorns stuck in His head,
A world of sin to blame.
The Son of God would soon be dead;
He cried His Father’s name…
“My God, My God”...an anguished plea
As He hung from that cross.
The price was paid so you and me
Won’t be forever lost.
But Jesus did not die in vain,
Our will could not destroy.
Our Savior died and rose again!
Our tears would turn to joy.
So let’s remember every day
What Christ endured for us,
And walk the straight and narrow way
With faith and hope and trust.

Passion of the Christ

“I Am The Way”
It is I, be not afraid.
Be still, and hear My voice.
Because you know the price I paid,
Be thankful and rejoice.
Trust in Me to see you
through
The trials you face each day.
I will light the path for you,
Fear not, I AM the way!
Use My actions as your guide
For living as a whole.
I AM right there by your side
To help attain that goal.
I truly, truly say to you
That I AM from above.
Believe with all your heart that’s true…
There is no greater love!

I Saw
Jesus
Unknown Author
I saw Jesus last week.
He was wearing blue jeans and an old shirt.
He was up at the church building;
He was alone and working hard.
For just a minute,
He looked a little like on of our members.
But it was Jesus.
I could tell by his smile.
I saw Jesus last Sunday.
He was teaching a Bible class.
He didn't talk really loud or use long words,
but you could tell He believed what he said.
For just a minute,
He looked like my Sunday school teacher.
But it was Jesus.
I could tell by His loving voice.
I saw Jesus yesterday.
He was at the hospital
visiting a friend who was sick.
They prayed together quietly.
For just a minute,
He looked like brother Jones.
But it was Jesus.
I could tell by the tears in His eyes.
I saw Jesus this morning.
He was in my kitchen
making my breakfast
and fixing me a special lunch.
For just a minute,
He looked like my mom.
But it was Jesus.
I could feel the love from His heart.
I see Jesus everywhere,
taking food to the sick,
welcoming others to his home,
being friendly to a newcomer,
and for just a minute,
I think He's someone I know.
But it's always Jesus.
I can tell by the way He serves.
May someone see Jesus in you today.
